Summary of netball achievements in 2010
- 12 teams were entered into the league.
- 9 teams competed in the semi-final and final league play-offs.
- 6 teams achieved gold medals and won their respective WP leagues, namely U19A, U16A and D, U14 B, C and D.
- 2 teams achieved silver medals as runners up in the league, namely U19B and U19 D.
- U16 A won the Super 14 tournament in Bloemfontein and the U19A team were placed second.
- U16A represented the Western Cape in the SA Challenge tournament in Boksburg. 27 teams competed and the Stellies team were knocked out in the quarter final by Waterkloof U16A. A fantastic result indeed as 8 out of the 9 players were u15.
- Only one team lost at the Durbanville High School Derby Day.
- 11 players represented WP and 3 players were included in the Western Cape Teams.
- The U16A teams were honoured as the Stellies “Sports Team” of the year and the U19A team received a “Special Award” from the Principal for their excellent achievements.
