Stellies o.17

Stellenberg se o.17 span het tydens die Desembervakansie  aan die SA Nasional Skole Spele  in Pretoria deelgeneem.

The 9 provinces played in a round robin competition over 5 days. The girls played 2 to 3 matches per day in soring temperatures. We lost 3 matches and won 5 matches and ended 4^th. The team did well taking into consideration that some of the players are only 15 years old and they had to play against players of 17 years of age.

Die span was reeds vroeg in die toernooi  met beserings gekniehalter, maar niks het die span ondergekry nie. Ons het deurgedruk die laaste 2 dae met slegs 7 spelers en geen reserwes.

Team Western Cape ended 2^nd overall at the SA National Schools Games.

'n Groot dankie aan die ouers wat hulle vakansie opgeoffer het om hulle kind toe te laat om aan die toernooi deel te neem.
